Looking at the big picture…

With the approaching season, anticipation is at an all-time high as I anticipate managing the numerous tasks I need to accomplish this year. To alleviate this stress, I have decided to work on obtaining funding for some of the projects that I aspire to undertake within my business.

Recently, I have realized that HGH, my business, requires additional support for its first season of operation. My passion has always been to mentor and work with individuals who are willing to learn and put in hard work. I also envision my business as an active participant in the community, contributing to something bigger and more important than just growing veggies and flowers.

As you read through my words, you may be wondering what could be more important than what I'm talking about. In my humble opinion, I believe that it is paramount to mentor and teach the next generation of market gardeners. By doing so, we can continue on the path toward achieving both human and planetary health.

I am passionate about making a positive impact on a multifaceted scale. I believe that by doing my part for the sustainability of our planet, providing fresh and healthy produce to the community, and helping others learn about how we can all work together to achieve this goal, we can truly make a difference.

My ultimate goal is to work towards a bigger picture. I want to contribute to a world where everyone has access to nutritious food, where our planet is healthy, and where we all work together to achieve this. I believe that by mentoring and teaching the next generation of market gardeners, we can ensure that this vision becomes a reality.

I'm thrilled to share that I recently secured grant funding from Venture for Canada to help me embark on a journey of community involvement. With this funding, I am excited to announce that I will be able to take on a talented student intern for the 2024 season. The internship is designed to be a mutually beneficial relationship between the student and HGH. One way we are going to accomplish this is by facilitating a project that the student will design and execute that will complement HGH’s business model, values and ethics, products, etc. As a team, we are working together to bring about a positive change in our local community. I am honored to have the opportunity to showcase the active role that HGH is taking in community involvement. Through our joint efforts, we aim to create a significant impact that will benefit the people living in our surrounding areas. Our focus is on supporting the community's well-being, and we are dedicated to providing the necessary resources and assistance to achieve this goal. I am thrilled to be a leader in a company that prioritizes community involvement and is committed to making a positive difference in people's lives.
